domain orders extended - does not override client area form

i have the 7 day trial, it installed ok, i have the admin portion working fine.

however the client portal page for ordering a domain is blank when i enable "Replace Standard Registrar With Module Order Form"

ok i found the LAST section in the documentation that explains i need to copy the template files if i am using a different template. i use the standard "portal" template not the "default" template. copying the files got it to display now to test it out a bit.
